Mr. Albert Honegger, sadly passed away in Uster, Zurich (CHE) on 9 January 2025, shortly before his 107th birthday.

He was Switzerland's oldest known living man.

He was born on 12 January 1918.

He is the 28th oldest man in Swiss history
Albert Honegger spent 363 days as Switzerland's oldest man, the longest since Alfred Ziegler who spent 3 yrs, 64 days (7 Jan 2019-12 Mar 2022), the oldest to die as Switzerland's oldest man since Richard Mercier (107 years, 148 days) who died on 25 June 2023, the 3rd man from Zurich to be considered Switzerland's oldest, the first since Walter Muller who died on 26 May 2022

Martha Furrer is the last one who is from the first list here, she debuted at #4, and was the only representative of Uri on this list
Francine debuted on the list on 16 Sept 2022 (#10)
Bern has 3 names again, last time was on 9 Jan 2024
As of the list of 26 Jun 2024, there are 4 109+ on the list
