@ale76 Sorry for the question.
Kane Tanaka (1903-2022) my favorite supercentenarian of all time.
GRG has validated Ms. Anna Ringier (SWI) (Apr. 12, 1896 - Sept. 3, 2006, 110) (formally validated on Aug. 26, 2018).

GRG has validated Ms. Ada Avila (ECU/USA) (b. 14 January 1910, 113).
You can read:
"The birth record used for this case (and the one which the GRG used) was a copy from 1970s..."
"The baptismal record is an original one, made in June 1911, but supporting born on 14 Jan 1911, not 1910"
"brother of her is pointed out in the family tree of her as born in 1910"

Noting the highly controversial decision in respect of Mrs Avila, does the ESO or others have any thoughts on Mrs Aulenbacher’s advised validation?

Stefan Jamin is a highly experienced and respected researcher with a strong and long standing track record of quality research. Despite the valid concerns raised in relation to a number of recent GRG validations, I don't see any reason to question this one.
ESO Co-Founder and Administrator (since 1 January 2020)
Thank you very much for these details Chris and Marco and congratulations on your work Stefan.
It's disappointing we have to ask these questions at the moment, where the GRG is involved.
It really is absurd how the speed of GRG validations has sped up ten-fold since LQ was founded. You wonder how many corners are being cut.
GRG Administrative Assistant for Database Administration (27 February 2016 – 18 November 2022)

And the funding problem they blamed the lack of validations on seems to have disappeared...
Perhaps stealing from others is the new "cost effective" and "rapid validation technique" they've come up with ??

To be fair, most of the recent GRG validations had already been pending for quite a number of years - and I am actually glad that these supercentenarians are finally receiving their place in the spotlight, something they've deserved for so long. (Obviously I can't comment on the accusations by LQ with regard to theft, as this concerns applications after 2019, when I was no longer involved.).
In fact, I would actually agree with Ollie: the arrival of LQ and the subsequent choice of (now former) GRG volunteers to work for LQ has angered and frustrated (I suppose you could call this 'extrinsic motivation') the remaining GRG members in such a way that they've decided to speed up their own validation process.
It will become interesting to see what happens once this new schedule starts interfering with their daily lives, such as being involved in politics. What will they start prioritising then?
Overduidelijk misschien.
It’s good to hear that there is some fair and positive evaluation, genuinely available, in respect of some of the product that is coming out of the GRG at this stage.
Thank you for the details.

First supercentenarian I learned about: Kane Tanaka (1903-2022)
Congratulations to the family of Mrs Burks.
That is a very “senior” validation at 114-337 and good enough to currently be spot 70 on the all time list.
@930310 I personally know too good what you are meaning... That´s why I have stopped to work for them after my two validations.
