Fukuoka Prefecture announced that Ms. Haruko Onizuka (b. on 18 March 1913 and living in Mizumaki), is the oldest living person in the prefecture.
This means that Ms. Yuki Nitta, born on 10 August 1911 and living in Buzen, who was announced as the oldest person in Fukuoka Prefecture in September 2023, has entered limbo.

It is believed that it is more likely that she died in the first 9 months of 2024 rather than the last 3 or 4 months of 2023, there was one user from other forum who had contact with her relatives and it appears that she was alive in January 2024.
