Ada Thompson was born on 28th November 1910 and is the third-oldest known person in the UK. She is also the oldest person I have ever spoken to, since I video called her last month. As she is the only supercentenarian I have ever spoken to, I wanted to be the one to start her thread here. She has a very endearing personality and I hope that I might get to meet her one day.
I hope to be able to provide people with updates on this remarkable lady.

How cool to have had a video call with a supercentenarian! I have only met a few in person..

Congratulations on arranging a video call with Ada and great to hear she is still has an endearing personality! She lives just 20 minutes drive from me. I would also like to meet her one day if she was open to meeting new people. Do you also live local to her ell?

@chris I'm about an hour away from her, so I could feasibly visit if she was open to it. All of this has to be coordinated with her daughter-in-law, who I am in contact with. Ada lives in a care home, but gets regular visits from family and is very lucid.
Time to bump this thread:
I am still in contact with her daughter-in-law, who informs me that she is still doing very well. Rob and I designed a card for her 112th birthday, which was sent to her.
For Ada Thompson's 112th birthday last year, Ell and I hoped to be able to visit her - unfortunately we were unable to. Nonetheless we sent her a joint 112th birthday card - below is a photo of Mrs. Thompson with the card; it was an honour to be able to send it to her:
A close-up of the portrait on her card (based on a photo of her on her 106th birthday, I'm not great at drawing without a template!):
@rob Great portrait! Bravo Rob!
