Masa Matsumoto was born on November 29, 1909 in Konan-cho, Koka District (now part of the city of Koka), Shiga pr. (JPN). She currently lives in Yokohama, Kanagawa pr. (JPN).
In September 2020, Ms. Matsumoto was reported to be the third-oldest known living person in Kanagawa Prefecture, after Ms. Katsuta (of Yamato) and Ms. Kawasaki (of Kawasaki). Following Ms. Kawasaki's death on 10 December 2022, Ms. Matsumoto became the oldest known living person in the prefecture.
As of April 13, 2023, she is currently in Top 10 oldest validated living person in Japan.
At the age of 31.
At the age of 43 (on the right).
At the age of 93.
At the age of 94.
Shortly before her 109th birthday in 2018.
At the age of 109.
On her 110th birthday in 2019.
Aged 111 in 2021.

Koka city is the neighboring city of Otsu city where I born.
Born exactly 10 years after Emma Morano's birth, I really feel she has great potential. May she have much happiness and long life!.

Yesterday Ms. Matsumoto tied the final age of Ms. Ura Koyama (JPN) and Ms. Myrtle Dorsey (USA) at 114 years 218 days and she entered Top 100 Oldest People Ever!!!
