Nina Willis was born on January 14, 1909 in Robinson, Georgia (USA) and grew up in the town working as a farmer. She was one of 20 children. Her brother, Bethuel Frazier (1902–2011), lived to be 109. In 1947, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she did domestic work and worked in Kessler's Department Store. She was married to Charles Willis, and the couple did not have any children. She currently lives in a retirement home in Atlanta, Georgia (USA).
As of January 16, 2023 Mrs. Willis is the 10th-oldest validated living person in the World and the 3rd-oldest validated living person in the USA behind Ms. Ceccarelli (114.9) and Ms. Plummer (114.5).

On 17 January 2023, following the sad passing of Sister André, Ms. Willis became the 8th-oldest validated living person in the world.

On 6 February 2023, following the sad passing of Ms. Okai, Ms. Willis became the 7th-oldest validated living person.

Nina Willis surpassed the age of Leila Denmark, who is born and lived in the same U.S. state as Nina Willis.
U.S. state of Georgia is a very strong U.S. state for Longevity. 9 of 114+ people is born in U.S. state of Georgia.

Nina's younger sister died on 18 June 2024 at the age of 99, marking the end of a family which produced a 114-year-old woman and a 109-year-old man

I agree, maybe we need a sad reaction button like on the 110 Club
Also, I wouldn't really call it "detective work", I just searched up her name and city and her obituary came up right away
