It's always great to see Mr. Neto, he is one of my favourite living supercentenarians, I really admire his good humour (as shown, for instance, in those occasions when he wished happy birthdays to fellow supercentenarians).

Interesting to hear about the impact of genetic diversity in longevity too; I do think Dona Rosinha's take of one's nature being crucial regarding longevity is very true! (By the way, would she be an undocumented supercentenarian? I'd never heard of her before, and I don't think there's anyone with the name Rosa (or a similar name) among the known living Brazilian supercentenarians?)

Its great that we were able to get some feedback here; as often health issues and related speculation can be very personal and private matters.

@billy-robinson athyon: In response to the speculations on João Marinho Neto's health:

João was in the hospital briefly, due to a drop in blood pressure and saturation. However, he's already saturating well, and is no longer on supplementary oxygen. He has been discharged, and is on his way back home. It was just a scare, and he is doing completely fine now.

That photo above showing João with a doctor (from the doctor's personal facebook page, mind you) was taken this morning. It's a cheerful post about how he got to meet a celebrity (João), which reinforces that is doing just fine.
