Okagi Hayashi was born on September 2, 1909 in Japan. She had nine children (one deceased as of 2019).
On 24 October 2013, Hayashi became the oldest known living person in Toki City. On 24 June 2019, she became the oldest known living person in Gifu Prefecture upon the death of Ms. Wada.
Ms. Hayashi currently lives in Tsumagicho, Toki City, Gifu pr. (JPN).
As of March 9, 2023, she is currently the fourth-oldest validated living person in Japan after Ms. Tatsumi (115.9), Ms. Itooka (114.7) and Ms. Makishi (114).
