Ms. Lea Vassilli, who was born in Rijeka (CRO) on 27 April 1915, turned 107 y.o. yesterday in Imperia, Liguria Region, Italy where she lives nowadays.

@ale76 The Italian website "Persone viventi più longeve in Italia" is a great thing. If there was something similar for each country, it would be very good. Also Poland has something similar, but it is outdated, while for Italy 107+ is great. And it is often updated, which is the most important thing...

@ale76 I totally agree, it's great and it looks really nice. Monitoring the aging of the population in one country is great, as I say if more countries had something similar it would be really good.

Valdemar Prukner (b.02.05.1915) Born in the Croatian city of Rijeka, currently living in Travemünde, Germany. He is also currently the oldest known living man born in Croatia..

In Germany, it is considered to be the oldest violinist in the world...

Mara Gabelica, currently the second oldest living person in Croatia (after Andjela Šoštarić), turned 108 on 8 September 2022. She currently lives in the village of Zmijavci, Municipality of Zmijavci, County of Dalmatia, Croatia. She was born in Ivanbegovina in the hamlet of Kujundžići. At the age of 17, she got married in 1932 in the hamlet of Gabelica in Podbablje At the age of 17, she got married in 1932 in the hamlet of Gabelica in Podbablje to her husband Anto, who was 12 years older than her. Then in 1953 they moved to live in Zmijavci. Ante, to Mara's great regret, died just two years later in 1955, leaving her a widow with four children, two sons and two daughters. One son, to her greatest sorrow, passed away...

In April 2021 she received the vaccine against covid-19...

Dundo Božo Kralj has been confirmed alive after almost 5 years since the last report. He lives in the village of Pridvorje in the municipality of Konavle, under the slopes of the Sniježnica mountain, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, Croatia.

He was born in Austria-Hungary (present-day Croatia) on 9 October 1915.

OLDEST KNOWN LIVING MAN IN CROATIA is since 5 March 2021 (following the death of 109-year-old Josip Kršul).

Margarita Dorkin, currently the fourth oldest known living person in Croatia, (behind Andjela Šoštarić, Mara Gabelica and Dundo Božo Kralj), turned 107 years on 10 October 2022.

She lives in Ugljan, Zadar County, Croatia. She never married or had children, she lives with distant relatives in the last 30+ years.

Ms. Andjela Sostaric, OLP in Croatia, sadly passed away on 8 May 2022 at the age of 108 years, 279 days.

Ms. Sostaric was born in Drenje Brdovecko, Zagreb County on 2 August 1913. She became the oldest living person in Croatia, following the death of 107-year-old Marija Bibulic on 16 April 2021.

Mara Gabelica (born 8 September 1914) of Split, Dalmatia County is her successor as the new OLP in Croatia.

Her husband Ante died in 1955 and she was left a widow with four children, two sons and two daughters.

She became the oldest known living person in Croatia, following the death of 108-year-old Andjela Sostaric on 8 May 2022.

She currently lives in the village of Zmijavci, municipality of Zmijavci, Split-Dalmatia County.
