Josias de Oliveira is a supercentenarian claimant from Brazil, who claims to have been born on 21 October 1911. If his age is true, he could be the oldest living man in the world. According to the Gerontology Wiki site, he was last confirmed alive a few days after his claimed 112th birthday in October 2023. However, he was confirmed alive privately to me on 03 January 2024. I also found a mention of him from a website from 18 January 2024, but I don't know how reliable this website is. Regardless, he has been confirmed alive on 2024. I also have 3 photos of him from 2024, but I'm not sure I'm allowed to share them here.

Early life records have been found for Josias de Oliveira stating that he was born on 21 October 1917 and is only 107, not 113. The credit to person who found it is AQ. Whilst this isn't 100% proof, it certainly weakens his case a lot

If the year recorded on Josias's birth certificate is unclear, then birth records for his siblings (if he had any) or a marriage record for his parents could help determine his exact birth year.

Ok, I need to make this message. I got it wrong AQ did not find these documents, it was a former LAS researcher and now he is being accused of plagarism. I made a mistake and I'm really sorry for writing this comment.
