I saw the debunked cases in the link and noticed a lot of Jamaicans being debunked lately, what happened to have so many?

No idea but clearly there is likely a lot of misinformation when comes to these supercentenarians. Everything single country doesn't always have good record keeping

So apparently he meant to say 1925 not 1915, meaning he was only 99

It doesn't mean that his status of the oldest living person and man in Jamaica changed, it meant that he likely wasn't a supercentenarian

GRG has just told me that Uton was more likely born on 25 August 1925. I'm not sure if you are just going to take my word for it but his age is now considered questionable

Since Francisco Reynoso's death on July 17, 2024, he was also considered the oldest living man in the Caribbean. He held that position for 276 days, longer than his predecessor (since November 5, 2023, it was 255 days). He died at the age of 110 years and 311 days, the oldest in that position since Juan Escribano, who died on December 5, 2021 at the age of 111 years and 11 days.
