Chiyo Yanagawa is the oldest living person in Osaka Prefecture, Japan, likely since the death of Fusa Tatsumi in December 2023. She was born on 28 September 1911.

Osaka reported its oldest person as a 112-year-old so we don't know for sure if it is her or someone else

Gabriel Lopez Morales was a man from Mexico who claimed to have been born on 18 March 1909. He was last confirmed alive in 2021 for his 112th birthday. Since then there have been no updates on him. I have contacted his great granddaughter on Facebook. If his age is true, he may have been the oldest man in Mexico, being older than Jorge Duran Coral. If he is still currently alive, he may have been WOLM since the death of Saturnino de la Fuente Garcia on 18 January 2022. So far, I have not been able to locate any death notices, so it's possible he is still alive. If you know anything about his case, please comment down below.
