This Ohio township, with a total population of slightly over 1,000 people in 2020, produced both a 109-year-old and a 110-year-old, two sisters:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franklin_Township,_Darke_County,_Ohio

Specifically these two:

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/32911412/deltha-kress

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/42793822/sylvia_utz

How cool, two sisters reaching this age born in such a small town, very good find.

Here are two sisters, aged 108 and 109, who were both born in a town with slightly over 500 residents:

https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/69522517/susan_genetta_grau

And as a bonus, the elder sister was likely LGBTQ+:

"Ina Marie Lee, age 108, slept away peacefully to be with her Lord, December 13, 2000. A direct descendent of Robert E. Lee she is survived by her sister, Genetta Grau; nephews, Jim, John, Charles and George Grau; niece, Susan Marie Nellett; dear friends, Icel and Bob Midkiff, and her loving friend and companion for the past ten years, Mary Lou Leonard, and her family. Her closest friend for 60 years, Lucretta Owens, preceded her in death."

Her ex-husband (whom she later divorced) is not mentioned in her obituary at all.

Also, there's this photo of Ina Marie Lee and her partner Lucretta Mae (Jordan) Owens:

I suspect that there was more than simple friendship going on here. But she lived in a very LGBTQ+ phobic time and thus couldn't be open about it.

This is very interesting, thanks for remembering this
I think I had already seen something about this, yes
It opens up room for another discussion that someone here can help with, including you @futurist
Who are the oldest LGBTQIA+ people who have lived, or who are still alive?
I know it is very difficult to know this, because they lived in a very difficult time for the community, with a lot of persecution, but is there anyone like this among the older people?
I regret that persecution is returning here in Brazil, the municipal elections put many homophobic leaders in power and with expressive votes, I hope this passes soon, because this prejudice is not healthy, just as no prejudice is healthy.

This 109.5+ year-old woman was the oldest openly LGBTQ+ person in the world:

Very interesting indeed, she lived a long time, I hope we have a 110+ also LGBTQ+.
And the oldest living LGBTQ+ person, does anyone have this information?

They're almost certainly closeted and thus it would be a huge and unacceptable violation of privacy to find out. LGBTQ+ people are, what, several percent of the total population? So out of the top fifty oldest validated people, one or a couple of them should be secretly LGBTQ+.

Barney Myers (1910-2020), who died just several days before his 110th birthday, was born in Frankfort, South Dakota, a town that had just 408 people when he was born:

Unfortunately, back then it was more difficult, nowadays people are coming out more, so we will have a greater number of SCs when these people reach the age.

Yep!

BTW, I wonder when we'll have the first validated SC who was ever in a same-sex marriage or civil union?
