Is there anyone with a subscription to the archives of Corriere della Sera?
This query should lead you to a 110th birthday article (including picture) + obituary for Maria Bazzana (ITA, 1889-1999)

This link leads to a 111th birthday article for Cassie Bowen (USA, 1889-2001). Would anyone have access or know how to?
Peoria Journal Star, 2 March 2000.
Thanks.

@marco Unfortunately you'll have to pay the $ 3 or whatever it is to access the article.
@930310 Done. Unfortunately, it's a transcript of the article; the original would have had a picture.

Here's an afterthought... I'll try and e-mail the newspaper to see if they can provide me with a scan of that article + a scan of her obituary.

I've updated the American SC lists without articles in this thread, crossing out ones that articles have now been located for. I also added Leola Woodruff to the list because apparently articles haven't been located for her.
This article briefly mentions Lou Virginia White as being "119" in 1992: https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/278613757/
Two other reported supercentenarian claims from the SSDI are mentioned as living in this article, as centenarians:
Bill "Boozer" Jones, whose claimed lifespan was December 13, 1863 - November 26, 1994 (SSDI says 1879). A claim that was covered in newspaper articles for years dating back to the late 70s. Haven't found any census records for him, perhaps he was still an SC but much younger than his claimed 130 but I don't know.
Nan Wrenn, whose claimed lifespan in the SSDI was April 10, 1882 - August 1, 1994 (the article says she's age 102 but plausible mid-life census matches indicate a birth in the 1880s, but more research is needed)
Additionally, validated supercentenarian James Zackry (1881-1993) is mentioned as being 111 years old.
Virginia Rocca (ITA/USA, 1889-2000). The Fresno Bee, 28 May 2000.

Two more photos of Ruby Gilliam (1885-1998) from the Kent & Sussex Courier, 29 Sep 1995 and Sevenoaks Chronicle and Kentish Advertiser, 30 Sep 1993:
