Marie-Louise Rochambeau died on 28/Jun/2023 in Cayenne and was the oldest person in French Guiana since 19 July 2022, was born in Sainte-Marie, Martinique on 6 November 1913 and moved to French Guiana in 1968 to be close to her daughter, now Louise Chailloux is the oldest person in French Guiana, born 30 September 1916

Jeffrey Joseph was born on 20 July 1916 and died on 6 Mar 2024 he was born and died in Cayenne and was the oldest person in French Guiana, a position now held by Louise Chailloux born in Suriname on 30 Sept 1916 and living in Cayenne, Louise and the second person born in Suriname to be considered the oldest in French Guiana since 2010, which is when more reliable data began to be available in that country. It is not yet known who is the oldest person born in French Guiana alive nor who the man is older there
He was the 6th oldest person in history to die in French Guiana, the 2nd oldest man in history, the 5th oldest living man living in French areas and the 112nd person
Of the 7 people considered oldest in Guyana (including successor Louise Chailloux), 6 are from Cayenne, Jeffrey was the youngest to die (107 years, 230 days), the previous one was Camille Othily at 107 years and 292 days, who died in 2018. He was 252 days oldest in French Guiana, the shortest time recorded since 2010, surpassing predecessor Marie-Louise Rochambeau who stayed 344 days (19 July 2022-28 Jun 2023)

He was possibly the oldest man born in Saint Lucia too, does anyone have this information?, his death information states that he was born in Saint Lucia
