Charlotte Kretschmann was born on December 3, 1909 in Breslau (now Wroclaw), Silesia, Germany (now POL).
Mrs. Kretschmann has been the oldest known living person in Germany since the death of Ms. Cernohorsky on 18 September 2022, as well as the last known surviving person in Germany who was born in the 1900s decade.
As of April 4, 2023, she lives in Kirchheim unter Teck, Baden-Wuerttemberg (GER).
As young woman with her daughter.
On her 109th birthday in 2018.
Aged 110 in 2020.
Aged 112, on 24 December 2021, walking with assistance.
Aged 112 in October 2022.
With her great-grandson on her 113th birthday in 2022.
Aged 113 in December 2022.

Today Ms. Kretschmann ties Ms. Josefine Ollmann, the oldest validated person lived in Germany, at 113 years and 247 days. If validated, she will become the oldest validated person to have ever lived in Germany.

Today Ms. Kretschmann ties the final age of Ms. Ura Koyama (JPN) and Ms. Myrtle Dorsey (USA) at 114 years 218 days and she enters Top 100 Oldest People Ever!!!
There is now the first SC living in Germany in the Top 100 Oldest People Ever.
