Geez, I never noticed how amazing condition she’s in until now

Goes to the gym up to three times a week, takes regular walks

Does anyone know who her 110-year-old aunt is?

Marie Ribbens-Verstallen (NED, 1873-1983), who was a sister to Too's mother.

Overduidelijk misschien.

Ken Weeks (Grafton, New South Wales) (b. 5 October 1913) is the Doyen of Australia.

Mr. Weeks is an impressing person and in really remarkable shape.

Ken Weeks continues to maintain the health and fitness regime that got him this far.

At 110 he is walking still unaided.

It’s a smallish and historically a somewhat socially disadvantaged town in northern NSW, however has generally improved in recent years due to its reasonable proximity to high quality beaches, tourism and cities.

It produced one Prime Minister of Australia - for only 19 days (in a caretaker capacity whilst the party voted for a permanent leader), but otherwise no one else of any major reputation or fame.

So we hope Ken Weeks can go on and be its most notable resident.

Grafton. Oh, yes. I also know and like Grafton Street in Dublin where you can hear sometimes my all time favourite street singers Allie Sherlock and the wonderful Fionn Whelan. Their magnificent voices give me goosebumps every time. I will post a song of them in "The Song Of The Day" for you guys.

Keith Coutts (Queensland) (b. 1 January 1913),

Keith Coutts passed away in February 2020 (on I think the 17th) aged 107. I found confirmation of this years ago through a Facebook post, but forgot to report it at the time, and it seems to no longer exist (either that or it's Facebook's search functionality being as useless as ever...)

I’m not sure what the Italian team may have heard re Olga Abate recently.

But I shall make another enquiry from a source in Australia over this weekend.

At this moment it appears Ken Weeks is the oldest verified Australian.

And Aileen Kars (of NZ) is the oldest from Australasia/Oceania.

But there is a reasonable likelihood both may change.

Australia's OLP title has lately stagnated at age 111, with the last six supercentenarians to hold that title passing away at that age

More specifically, at the age of 111 years, 1xx days. It's a massive statistical fluke for six successive titleholders to pass away within such a small age range. Hopefully Marija Ruljancich (or Olga Abate) will be able to surpass that age and buck the trend.
