Australia's OLP title has lately stagnated at age 111, with the last six supercentenarians to hold that title passing away at that age

This number increases to seven with the discovery of Olga Abate's death at the age of 111.

The italian team solved Abate's case: Olga Domenica Creosina vid. Abate was verified as born on 20 May 1913 in San Lorenzo, Reggio Calabria, Calabria Region, Italy and passed away on 5 June 2024 in Melbourne, Australia, aged 111 years and 16 days. She really was the Doyenne of Australia at the time of her death. She will be validated, hopefully, by ESO and LQ.
