Maria da Encarnação Nunes de Sousa - of Vila Nova de Tazem, Guarda, Portugal - celebrated her 113th birthday.
She was born on 20 March 1909. Her age has been validated by the European Supercentenarian Organisation (ESO), and she is currently the oldest living person in Portugal.
"No passado Domingo, 20 de Março, a nossa utente Sra Encarnação Sousa celebrou 113 primaveras.
Leram bem, não é engano, celebrou o seu 113º aniversário.
Caso raro de longevidade em Portugal, deverá ser mesmo a senhora com mais idade no país.

Happy birthday! When I found her case in 2019 she was only known as "Maria da Encarnacao" and I never thought she would reach this age.
