Juan Gabriel Hernández Matamoros - of Heredia, Heredia Province, Costa Rica - turns 110 today! He was born in Naranjo, Alajuela Province, Costa Rica on 19 October 1913, and is the first man from his country to verifiably become a supercentenarian since 2006.

His age has been verified since 2020, and LAS validated since 2021. As of today, he's recognized by LQ.

I remember first "finding" him at 107, so it's great to see he made it to 110.
