Ms. Beatrice Morrison of Monroeville, Pennsylvania (USA) turned 110 y.o.
She was born in Georgia, USA, on 30 March 1916. She, along with her four siblings, moved to Braddock Hills, Pennsylvania, to live with their aunt after their mother’s death in 1925. Beatrice was married to Howard Morrison for 63 years, until his passing in 2000. She is also believed to have been the first African American woman to serve on a municipal committee in Monroeville.
