As already reported on the forum elsewhere, Ethel Caterham - of Surrey Heath, England, United Kingdom - has turned 115. She was born on 21 August 1909, in Shipton Bellinger.
She is the third British person in history to reach this extraordinary age, after Charlotte Hughes in 1992 and Annie Jennings in 1999.
Congratulations and happy birthday to her! 🌺
PS: in addition to her 115th birthday, Ethel and her sister Gladys Babilas are together now the joint-second-oldest British siblings ever, matching the combined age of 219 years, 78 days of Ethel Lang and Ada Wragg on this day!
