Jandyra Faria dos Santos - of Serra, Espírito Santo, Brazil - celebrated her 110th birthday last week. She was born on 23 August 1914 and is currently the oldest verified person in the state of Espírito Santo.

Although Jandyra is currently the oldest documented person in Espírito Santo, there is another probably true case of an anonymous woman born on 19 July 1913, currently 111 years old, whose age has not yet been verified.
