If she had been born in 1908, it would mean that the WOP would have momentarily fallen below 115 years.
It is very unlikely that she was born in 1908.
If it is discovered posthumously that she was born on April 1, 1907 then we will know for sure.
But until that is discovered, she turned 117 years old.

I agree. I am quite sure one found her in the census lists of 1907, 1908 and lateron.
Marco, let us know, if so, please.
@ Marco
Does the marriage certificate 1931 show a birth date and which?
In my opinion it is impossible that in these modern times such dates like birth dates would lack at Spanish documents.
If there is a birth date of the bride on the document, which is likely 99,99 percent, it will be 1 April 1907 99,99 percent.
If she was born on April 1, why would she celebrate her birthday in March and say she was born in March?
Kane Tanaka (1903-2022) my favorite supercentenarian of all time.
Most likely scenario: The family celebrates 4 March because Ms. Branyas Morena´s mother (1880-1968), father and other relatives k n e w the r i g h t date and told it (oral histoy/oral heritage), but the family hasn´t got any evidence. So the clerk had to protocoll in 1931 the written date of the document (likely the baptismal record) showing her age.
It is very plausible that the family had no possibility to correct the wrong birth date which was made on the baptismal record where you can find 1 April 1907. Such changes are nearly impossible.
And now I have to work until evening.
If she was born on April 1, why would she celebrate her birthday in March and say she was born in March?
Remember that Pearl Berg always believed her birthday was in February, and only learned otherwise when they found documents saying she was born a few months earlier then they had previously thought
Today she either truly reached 117 or surpassed Misao Okawa - congratulations in any case!
