Todays' s update (RIP Ms. Araúz de Maure):
The Doyenne of Panama should be Ms. Dolores Maria Vazquez (born 1 May 1911, 111).
She should have become the oldest known living woman in Panama after the death of 112-year-old Marcelina Araúz de Maure on 26 March 2022.
Ms. Vazquez currently lives in Nata de los Caballeros, Nata District, Cocle Province, Panama.
She has been validated by LAS.

The new top 5 is Alberto Montero born 1/11/1914 lives in Aguadulce, Province of CocleJulian is deceased as well, and it was already proven he was not age claimed (though the exact date of birth was not determined because church books are badly damaged).
Also Alberto was last confirmed almost 2 years ago, so he is limbo.

The oldest man in Panama then is Macário Cardenas, born 3/10/1910, in La Pintada De Tonosi, Los Santos, currently lives in Las Palmitas, Los Santos Province, Panama, at the age of 109 years, 226 days.

Has this man been researched?
I doubt he's the age claimed, but he could still be one of the oldest living men in Panama

The oldest documented living man in Panama is Rubén Ibarra Samaniego (b. 30 Jul 1915), who turned 108 almost two weeks ago.
However, quite a few undocumented Panamanian men claim to be older, such as Macario Barria (10 Mar 1913), Quintín González (31 Oct 1914), and an unidentified man born in 1913.
