I realise Straycat is posting information on the 110 Club as well, so some of this information might already be known. Many thanks to Straycat for all their efforts too!

The oldest living person in Saitama City, Saitama is 110-year-old Chiyo Obara (小原チヨ), born on 15 March 1915. In addition there is a woman born in April 1915. The oldest living man in the city as well as in the prefecture is 110-year-old Tamotsu Arai ( 新井保), born on 1 August 1915.

Another woman born in March 1915 has entered limbo. She was last confirmed alive on 1 August 2025.

The oldest living man (and person!) in Kōfu, Yamanashi is 110-year-old Shigeyoshi Nishijima (西嶋重義), born on 29 September 1914. He is also the oldest living man in the entire prefecture. The oldest living woman in the city is a 107-year-old woman born in September 1917 (so possibly 108 by now).

Shizuoka Prefecture reported that, as of 4 September 2025, after the death of Ms. Hide Endō, the new oldest living person in the prefecture is 112-years-old Ms. Yoshi Moriya (森谷よし), (born on 18 March 1913), of Izu City.
The oldest living man in Japan, Mr. Kiyotaka Mizuno (111 y.o.) of Iwata City, is still alive as of same day.

Adding the document as an attachment in case it disappears. RIP, Mrs Endō.

The oldest living person in Kanazawa, Ishikawa is a 112-year-old woman. This likely concerns Toshiko Ueda (上田敏子), born in January 1913 (but this cannot be fully asserted without more information). (Source: Hokuriku Shimbun, 4 September 2025.)

After the birthday report by LongeviQuest, Yamaguchi prefecture too confirms 112-year old Chitose Awata (粟田千年) of Yamaguchi City, born on 20 August 1913, as the oldest living person in Yamaguchi prefecture. The oldest living man in the prefecture is 107-year-old Yutaka Seiji (清地温) of Hirao, born on 15 June 1918. This sadly means that Uichi Kubota (久保田卯一) of Ube, born on 27 December 1917, has entered limbo; he was last confirmed alive on 1 September 2024.

The oldest living person in Kagoshima City is a 111-year-old woman; its oldest living man is 106 years old. The 111-year-old woman is undoubtedly Sato Sakashita (坂下サト), born on 20 March 1914, who is also the oldest living person in the prefecture.

Mrs Sakashita was visited on 4 September 2025 to honour her as the oldest living person in the prefecture. If anyone is able to download the video from the report, this would be much appreciated.
