Sadly one of the 3 supercentenarians in Minoh city, Osaka has died or (hopefully) moved. I'm not sure who. https://www.city.minoh.lg.jp/toukei/jinko/new.html

Based on ward demographics, this concerns the youngest of the three (the woman born in February 1915). This means Shime Nakanishi has turned 112.

A woman turned 110 in San'yō-Onoda, Yamaguchi in February (meaning she was born in February 1916).

A woman turned 110 in Kurume, Fukuoka in February (meaning she was born in February 1916).

A woman turned 110 in Nakano, Tōkyō in February (meaning she was born in February 1916).

Mrs Saitō was last confirmed alive on her 112th birthday, so on 17 July 2025, which was before the September updates. Unfortunately, Sumida Ward does not explicitly list centenarians by age (it clusters people aged 104 and older together), so there is no means to verify how many supercentenarians there currently are, and at what age. All we know is that Akino Ueda, who also lives in Sumida Ward, was last confirmed alive on her 113th birthday (so on 5 November 2025).

PS - In fact, on 1 January 2026, there were seven people in Sumida Ward aged 104 or above, all of whom were women.

On March 13, 2026, Ms. Yoneko Murakami (村上よね子) of Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture, sadly passed away at the age of 109. However, as of April 1, 2025, the oldest living person in the city was a 106-year-old woman. I don't understand what this means.
