Miton Thiago de Mello died on 1 Oct 2024, he was the 12th oldest living man in Brazil, the 2nd oldest man born and living in the state of Rio de Janeiro, the 9th oldest notable person other than longevity in the world and the 91st oldest in history.

Aos 108 anos, morre Milton Thiago de Mello, médico-veterinário que deu exemplo de dedicação à pesquisa e ao ensino – CFMV
