Mr. Shigeru Nakamura sadly passed away today 15 November 2022 aged 111 years and 308 days. He was born in Japan on 11 January 1911.

He lived in Jinsekikogen, Hiroshima Prefecture (JPN) and he has been the Doyen of Japan for over 2 months: he has been the oldest known living person in Hiroshima Pr., as well as the oldest known living man in Japan since the death of Mikizo Ueda on 9 September 2022.
