Mrs Augusta Oteiza of Boucau, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France died on 10 June 2024, aged 112 years and 38 days. She was born in Cauneille, Landes, France on 3 May 1912.

May she rest in peace.

She was the 6th oldest known living person in France, the 82nd oldest known living person in the history of France, the 24th oldest known living person in Europe (236th in history).
She was the oldest person in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, which now happens to be Marcelle Demorgny born on 10 Mar 1913 and is the 12th oldest living person in France and 191st in the country's history
She was the 879 oldest in the history of the world (validated)
