Very sad news:
Mrs. Clarabell "Grandma D" Demers (née Campbell) of North Dakota passed away today at 113. She was born on 3 November 1910. She was the sixth-oldest person in the United States and the oldest person in North Dakota since 3 January 2021.
"Her family told WDAY she fell and broke her hip Monday evening. Doctors were able to get the pain under control so she was comfortable, and Grandma D passed away early Wednesday morning, Jan. 17."
