The oldest living man in the U.S. died last weekend, but I still couldn't locate the correct date
He was also the oldest living US WWII veteran.
With this we have the name of Luis Cano as the oldest man in the USA, but unfortunately his date of birth is not exact yet, I hope that this date is located as well, and that more information about him is discovered

Possible census in 1920 for Edwin Martin was located potentially making him 2 years younger than claimed https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M638-5ZS
Atilio Zepeda Navarrete, Luis Cano and Henry Polichetti are other candidates for the OLM in the USA, but no documentation for Atilio or Luis have been discovered, only for Henry

He spent 186 days as the oldest man in the United States (since 26 Jun 2024), the longest since Francis Zouein who spent 1 year, 112 days (4 Oct 2022-12 Jan 2024) but he is not validated yet, excluding him would be Ezra Hill who spent 272 days (5 Jan 2022-4 Oct 2022) and preceded Francis, If his death was really on 29 Dec,at 110 years, 61 days he is the youngest to die in that position since Oscar Dubois who died at 109 years, 291 days on 25 June 1989, he is the 7th man from Illinois to hold that position, the previous one was CP Crawford who died on 23 Nov 2019
