Ms. Ida Ortolani of Milan, Lombardy Region, Italy, sadly passed away yesterday 14 June 2024, aged 111 years and 9 months.
She was recovered 3 weeks ago in nursing home in Milan Lambrate.
She was born in Abington, Pennsylvania (USA) on 4 September 1912.
She was the 7th OLP in Italy and the OLP in Lombardy Region.

She was the 30 oldest living person in Europe, the 53rd oldest person in history to die in Italy, she was the oldest living immigrant in Italy, now that person happens to be Maria Gabriella Lerchenthal born on 8 June 1913 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany and living in Rome, Lazio
She was also the oldest living person born in Pennsylvania
Now the oldest person in Lombardy is Elsa Ferrari born on 2 Dec 1913
She was the 94th oldest emigrant validated
Elizabeth Werrenrath is now the oldest living person born in Pennsylvania (28 Jan 1914)
Born in Harrisburg, lives in Evanston, Illinois

Sorry for bringing this back up, but LQ and ESO say she died on 10 June. I doubt this is correct because her daughter in law clearly said that she died on 14 June and her relative on her Social Media.

Ooh, thank you for having noted this, I've immediately changed her date of death. Not sure how I went wrong there two years ago; her date of death appears as "14 June 2024" in all of my other systems.

@marco I think after it was made on ESO, it was then copied over to LQ and they've just listed her deathdate as "10 June" for a long time.
