Last Monday, Marina Femke van der Es-Siewers from Hippolytushoef (NH) passed away, exactly one week after her 111th birthday.

Mr. Huang was born in South Vietnam, went to live in Suriname in 1931 (he had Chinese shops there) and emigrated to the Netherlands in the early seventies. His wife passed away over three years ago.

I think exactly the opposite, I put it as a curiosity and also to exalt the achievements of these people

But when they have passed away, details like this can often be seen as more of a tribute to what they achieved - in a life now complete.
