Ms. Marita Carlton Gould, the oldest (known) living resident of the U.S. state of New Hampshire, sadly passed away on May 21st, aged 110 years, 124 days.
She was born in Portland, Maine, USA, on 18 January 1914.
On 4 January 2024, following the passing of 111-year-old Theo Ricker, she became the oldest (known) living person in the U.S. state of New Hampshire.

She was the 48th oldest living person in the US. Does anyone know who the oldest person in New Hampshire is now?
@diego The oldest one I have been able to find is the OLM in New Hampshire, Franklin Estes, born 29 Jul 1916. There might be someone older, the last two OLP weren't reported on until their deaths and the last time the OLP in New Hampshire was younger than 108 was when Clarina Hudon became the OLP following the death of Florence Tolland.

You are right when you say that the last olp of New Hampshire were unknown until their death, Marita for example was listed as anonymous in the list of the oldest in the USA, with no indication of state and Theo Ricker was one of the first supercentennial deaths of 2024 and it was not known at all, very well remembered and this situation is very curious. Thank you very much for finding Franklin's name as the oldest known in the state now
