Mrs. Juliana Teodora Artola Ondara from San Sebastian, Guipuzcoa, Spain sadly passed away on January 28, 2025 at the claimed age of 113 years old.

She is claimed that was born in 1911.

NOTE: The oldest living verified person in Spain is a Angelina Torres Vallbona who was born on March 18, 1913. I think it's worth investigating this case as thoroughly as possible.

In Geneanet there is also a picture of the grave of the family.

Her husband (Mr. Unzurrunzaga, born in 1911 and died in 1970) and her siblings are buried there. According to the grave they were all born around 1910s, so this proves that this lady was really born circa 1911:

I also have found an obituary from 1937 of her brother Carmelo, who died at 22 fighting in the Spanish Civil War. The text mentions Juliana:

Juliana was probably the oldest Basque person in history. May she rest in peace.

She was christened on 24 April 1911 according to a church record, which means she was 113 years, 9 months old at the time of her death and was the OLP in Spain for 4.5 months. Let's hope an exact day of birth can later be confirmed.
