Luis Carrasco-Muñoz y Pérez de la Isla was born in Madrid, on 13 February 1914.
On 16 July 2024, following the passing of Mateo Balbuena Iglesias, he became the oldest living man in Spain. Upon his own passing, he was succeeded by Jesús Redondo Bermejo.
He was also the second-oldest living man in Europe, after Ilie Ciocan (Romania).
