Ms. Margaret Romans of Montreal, Quebec, Canada sadly passed away on 25 October 2025, aged 113.
She was born in Riga, Latvia (then part of the Russian Empire) on 16 March 1912 and emigrated to Canada in 1947.
She was the oldest Latvian-born person and oldest living person in Canada.
