Ms. Yoshi Yamamoto of Iwamizawa, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan sadly passed away on 12 June 2025, aged 112.
Yamamoto-san (山本ヨシ) was born in Tsukigata, Hokkaido Prefecture, on 18 February 1913.
Ms. Yamamoto was the second oldest known living person in Japan's Hokkaido Prefecture, after Ms. Kiyo Ito.

She is the 2nd oldest person born in 1913 to die to date, along with Ottilie Reimers (GER) at 112 years, 114 days. She is the 8th oldest person in Hokkaido's history.
She is the 888th oldest person in history, along with
Agnes Fagoo 19 Dec 1894 12 Apr 2007 FRA
She is the 204th oldest person in Japanese history.
She was the 13th oldest living person in Japan and the 40th oldest living person in the world.
