Yes, I live in Poland. I became interested in longevity when Tekla Juniewicz and Stanisław Kowalski, record holders from my country, were still alive. I hope that soon someone from Poland will also get this far.

Madera is the 37th oldest man in Polish history.
He was the oldest living man in Poland since July 26, 2024 (300 days), the shortest time since Stanisław Pełka, who died on July 17, 2023, after 3 days as the oldest living man in Poland.
He died at 107 years, 354 days, the youngest in that position since Józef Pławski, who died at 107 years, 335 days on April 9, 2017.
He is the second man from Subcarpathia to be the oldest living man in Poland; the previous one was Jan Szarpała, who died on December 11, 1990.
