Sergio Flamigni (Forlì, October 22, 1925 – Bracciano, December 10, 2025) was an Italian politician, writer, and partisan.
He was a member of the Italian Communist Party (PCI) parliament from 1968 to 1987, as well as a member of the parliamentary commissions of inquiry into the Moro affair, the P2 lodge, and the anti-Mafia movement.
Parliamentary Offices
In May 1968, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies, in the Bologna constituency. In the fifth legislature (1968-1972), he was a member of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers - Interior Affairs Committee and the Special Bicameral Anti-Mafia Commission. He was re-elected to the Chamber of Deputies in the sixth legislature (1972-1976), as vice president of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers - Interior Affairs Committee and a member of the Bicameral Anti-Mafia Commission. In the seventh legislature (1976-1979), he was re-elected to the Chamber of Deputies, as vice president of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers - Interior Affairs Committee.
In the eighth legislature (1979-1983), he was elected to the Senate, as a member of the Committee for Constitutional Affairs, Presidency of the Council of Ministers and Interior Affairs, and of the Committee on Elections and Parliamentary Immunities. He was appointed to the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into the Moro case and to the Anti-Mafia Commission. In the ninth legislature (1983-1987), he was re-elected to the Senate as a member of the Constitutional Affairs Committee, Presidency of the Council of Ministers - Interior. He was appointed to the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into the P2 Masonic Lodge and to the Special Bicameral Anti-Mafia Commission.
