Recently the Portuguese actor Ruy de Carvalho was reported (in the Portuguese media) as the oldest actor in the world that is still working. I don't know if he really is the oldest active actor in the world, but he must certainly be one of the oldest.
He was born on 1 March 1927, in Lisbon, Portugal. He began working as an amateur actor in 1942, in the theater play "O Jogo para o Natal de Cristo". Between 1945 and 1950 he attended the National Conservatory, where he studied theater and finished with an average of 18. He began as a professional actor in 1947, in the stage comedy "Rapazes de Hoje". Throughout his career he did radio broadcasts, he did "Revistas Portuguesas" (a traditional type of theater from Portugal), he was a film actor, and worked in television several years.
His first television job was acting in a television play in 1957 named "Monólogo do Vaqueiro":

The last television program he did was a novel, in 2022. He is currently staging at age 97 a theater play about his career "Ruy - A História Devida".
