More intelligent people on average have a longer life expectancy:

And more intelligent people are also probably on average likely to be wealthier, so it would make sense to presume that on average wealthier individuals would have a longer life expectancy than poorer individuals would.

However, this wouldn't necessarily apply to groups (as in, to between-group comparisons):
