Here are some photos of Sarah Rockwell (October 25, 1843 - November 23, 1953), who at age 110 years, 29 days was the last known living Civil War nurse. Somewhere along the way she lost track of her age and was claiming birth in 1844 in her final years. These photos come from Jay S. Hoar's The South's Last Boys in Gray. I don't know what dates the photos date to, but I think they're October 25, 1944, her 101st (claimed 100th) birthday.
