Mariano Norata is the 128th oldest man in Italian history, tied with Antonio Gaiotto 26 Mar 1912 2 May 2020, he was the 35th oldest man in Europe alive
He entered the list on 31 Jan 2024, after the death of Rinaldo Duranti
Sicily had not had a representative since the death of Antonino Lanza and had left the ranking on the list on 13 Oct 2022
Mario Miscia entered the list on 1 Jul 2024 after the death of Pasquale Gissi, it was Abruzzo's debut on the list
Marche returns to the list after having left on 19 Sept 2023 with the death of Bruno Gambini (then #7 in the ranking)
Veneto left on 24 Feb 2023 after the death of Fiorello Boscolo (then #6) and returns now
Second list in a row with 6 108+
As of the 29 March 2024 list there were no 2 109+ here, the death of Michele Cicora reduced it to just one, but now it's back to 2

The Campania region had at least 2 representatives since the list of 22 Dec 2023 with the death of Vincenzo Prete (then #4) and now has only one again
First appearance of Emilia Romagna on the list since the beginning of its publication here
Giuseppe Valente entered the list on 10 Oct 2023 after the death of Angiolo Sabatini (who was #9)

Valente is the 94th oldest man in Italian history

On the list of 2 Jan 2025 there were 6 108+ and now there are again because Giuseppe Valente died and had reduced the number to 5

Pietro de Simone entered the rankings of 22 Dec 2023 after the death of Vincenzo Prete
First time since the list of 20 Sept 2023 that there is no representative from Campania in the rankings
Since the death of Luigi Boi on 13 Jan 2023 we have not had a representative from Sardinia in the rankings
We only have 4 108+ now here, first time since 20 Oct 204 that we have this number (the lowest since then)
