Hide Hamabe's birthday was coincidentally the same day as the GRG founder passed away. Hide Hamabe is the oldest validated person ever to be born on the date of December 3rd, the date of Dr. L. Stephen Coles passed away in 2014.

Mrs. Hamabe at 114:

Interested in supercentenarians since 27 July 2018.
First supercentenarian I learned about: Kane Tanaka (1903-2022)
