Catarina Carreiro was born in Penha Garcia, Castelo Branco District on 9 January 1891 and died in the same place on 13 February 2004, at age 113 years and 35 days. She is the fifth-oldest person ever from Portugal and the oldest person ever from Castelo Branco District.
