Agnes Boström was born on 29 April 1912 in Tarasjonas, Ramsele, Vasternorrland County, Sweden.
At the age of 109, Ms. Boström still lived alone in her apartment.
Ms. Boström became the oldest known living person born in Sweden, following the death of 112-year-old Ms. Lagerlund, on 9 April 2022.
She is currently the second-oldest known living person in Sweden, behind Ms. Hancock.
As of April 30, 2024, she lives in Alandsbro, Vasternorrland County, Sweden.
Aged 102, in November 2014.
On her 107th birthday in 2019.
On her 109th birthday in 2021.
At the age of 109.
Aged 110.
Aged 111.
On her 112th birthday in 2024.

She has been the oldest living person in Sweden and in all Nordic Countries since the death of 112 year old Gunborg Hancock on 16 October 2024.

"...the swedish TV-channel TV4 made a live-interview with Agnes Boström, as she the last week became the oldest person in Sweden and the nordic region. I link it here, even though I don´t know if it is possible to watch outside Sweden. TV-interview A. Boström
She seems still very active and in good shape. Just to be able to do a live-TV-interview at her age 112 (with some help from her granddaughter). Her hearing is not good but eldery people get problem with hearing already in their 80´s-90´s already. She still got her joy and humor though.
The TV-host asked many questions about how it feels to be that old, what she had done to become so old and advice for people to become that old. She answered them very shortly that it didn´t feel any special and that she don´t know what to do to become so old. ...."
