The difference between their combined age and that of next-oldest siblings is more than the difference between Calment and Tanaka. They’re already huge outliers and hopefully Kikue can keep going for a while to make that gap even bigger and maybe even surpass her sister (which would be around Halloween in 2024 I think)

Kikue Taira has entered the top ten. For the first time in history, there are two siblings who have both been in the top ten

But sadly the top 10 now once again has a member below 114.00.

On 2nd April 2024, following the sad passing of Mr. Perez Mora, Ms. Taira became the World's 10th-oldest validated living person.
