Real people or ghost cases?

The land of the centenarians?
According to the data of the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic, as of January 1 of this year, 458 people over one hundred years of age lived in Slovakia. At the end of April, Sociálna poisťovňa registered 245 pension recipients who were a hundred years old or older. Women do better at this age, there were 199 of them. The oldest pension recipient at that time was a 108-year-old woman, and two were 106 years old. The oldest recipient was 104 years old. It should be noted that not all centenarians and more must receive a pension in Slovakia, therefore the data from the statisticians and the Social Insurance Agency may not be the same. The Office for Health Care Supervision claims that, as of July 24, 2,754 insured persons over one hundred years of age without capitation were registered in the Central Register of Insureds. We can assume that they are no longer alive. But 299 have capitation, which means they have their own general practitioner and they should also visit him. So we can assume that they are alive. Matej Štepianský from Dôvera says that they currently have 63 insured persons over one hundred years old in their register. More than half of them received health care in the last year. Health insurance company Union has three policies and one policyholder over the age of one hundred. All of them have their own general practitioner. Do we need any more proof that the registers of either the insured or the residents need to be cleaned?
